This is the first of the group of paintings I've completed most recently.  I was interested in painting some sky and practicing my process so these were done in three sessions in the studio from photographs. This one in particular was actually one of the slight variations from the series.  I tried painting a tightly cropped section and the more I sit with this painting the more I/m completely charmed by the dancing water at the bottom.
